As far as I can tell, there is no "global" way of setting this. The time-zone + daylight savings is set on a per-user basis by the individual users. The only way I can change it for everyone is if I start hacking about in the database underlying the forum.

So... if you want the forum clock to tell the right time, go into the User Control Panel (the link is towards the top left of the screen usually), then select the Board Preferences tab, and then select No for the Summer Time/DST is in effect option.

Hmm, strange. I shall have to create a test user account so I can see these things for myself and fix them.

Anyway, in the interim I have found that I can set your time options via the Admin Control panel, so it should be fixed for you (but no-one else yet).

Hi Fraz
Hello Rob and David

Would it be possible to set up a e-mail notification system whereby when someone posts on a thread everyone who has posted on that thread is automaticaly notified by e-mail.

If you want email notifications just click on the "Subscribe topic" link at the bottom of the page of the thread you are viewing. You'll then receive email notifications whenever someone posts in that thread. I just gave it a quick test, and it seems to work.
