Hi there

Great news about the hospital transfer.

Sorry I have not been on line recently but my daughter has had a bug and it has been coming out of both ends for several nights now and I can hardly function due to lack of sleep and also I cannot just nip online while she is at home with me.

I don't know if it will help in any way but I was pretty confused after my op. I was on epidural for 2 days and goodness knows what going into the main line in my neck. Even when I got onto the ward and I was switched to morphine in tablet form for a few days (and diclofenan and paracetamol) I was " a couple of steps behind myslef" is the only way I could describe it. He has so much more to cope with mentally and physically than I had so I wouldn't worry too uch just yet.

I hope you are keeping your spirits up !

Wishing you both the best xx

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your kind messages and support. It has been an herrendous week or two. Rod's funeral was yesterday - another hurdle overcome but realise many more to come, so much administrative work to deal with but will get through it. Computer crashed yesterday - just something else to sort out but as it is my lifeline I will need to do it sooner rather than later.

I am staying with my daughter until Monday so have access to the forun until then, not sure how long it will be until I am up and running again at home - soon I hope!!

I access the forum everyday but not always able to contribute, I may be down but certainly not out.Isorod.

I may be too late with this offer, but let me know if there is any way I can help with your computer problems. I'm sure you have better things to worry about, so if I can help that'll make your life just a bit easier :)

Hi Fraz,

Many thanks for the offer, it was the monitor causing the problem and within three hours I had a new one and the guy also cleaned up the disk - pricey but worth it as my computer is my life line and is keeping me sane and motivated!! isorod.
