Hi David
Thank you for asking after my daughter. She is coping well so far and is rubbing in aqueous cream several times a day, which is supposed to help alleviate any burning which might occur. She hasn't been particularly tired as yet, so hopefully this will continue. Jane

I keep wondering and hope someone can help...Does radiotherapy make some people paralised? My sister had her last course on 30th April and that night lost use of her legs Then 4th May moved to hospice,we thought it was until her bungalow could be adapted for a wheelchair, but sadly she died on 7th May..These questions keep going round and round Was it the radiotherapy?the doctors said no it was the cancer ,which had spread to her spine.Everything just went downhill so quickly, even the hospice staff were shocked as the night before they said she was stable. Sorry for rambling it's been a ramblingday. Warm thoughts to all Lindamac

Hi Lindamac,
So sorry that these thoughts are troubling you, part of the grieving process. It is ubderstandable that these things do go through your mind - the what ifs etc, I know how you feel. My advice is to try and concentrate on all the good things you shared and not the things you cannot alter as if you concentrate on them you will not be able to move forward.

Regarding the Radiotherapy, very unlikely and try to accept the doctor's explanation of this. I understand how quickly all this happened but unfortuneately that is how cancer works in some instances.

My thoughts are with you on this journey you have been forced to take, keep posting as I am sure it will help you. Best wishes, isorod.
